Even though fall is my favorite season it sure is tough to top the life, sunshine, and promise of spring. In the past few weeks we have seen an amazing amount of new animal babies in our yard and I wanted to share a few with you. These are so cute and some even have a story to with them.
The first babies we found were bunnies who were about to be eaten by a bull snake. I don’t mind the bull snakes, but I am not about to sit by and watch one eat two squeaking and adorable baby bunnies. We fished them out of their torn up burrow and took them over to Desert Cry Wildlife. If you have a few bucks to spare click on over to their page and make a donation.
My son found these baby squirrels in a bucket near our chicken feed. There were four squirrels at first but my son reached in to pet one and it bit him and crawled up his arm and out to freedom. We set these babies free after I snapped a few pics of the cuties.
They are so cute that I cannot blame my son for wanting to pet them!
These last two pictures are of baby mourning doves in my lemon tree.
So very cute!
Okay, all together now: one, two, three “Awwww!”
Awwww! if my saw like this little creature, he does not stop
to cry until we gave it to him.He really loves like this little creature.
