Easy Peach Turnovers

Easy Peach Turnovers

Easy Peach Turnovers by Celebrating FamilyEvery year we take the kiddos to a local farm to pick peaches. It is a fun tradition that results in many tasty treats and frozen peaches that last us all year long. It’s a sticky and rewarding activity. I would say more than half our peaches go to healthy eating, but the rest, we sugar those suckers up. Oh yeah, I’ll admit it. This recipe for easy peach turnovers is amazingly delicious and never disappoints. We usually eat it as a breakfast, but I suppose it is really more of a dessert. Either way, your family will love it.

Easy Peach Turnovers

Ingredients

  • 1-2 peaches, peeled and sliced
  • 1 tube of Grands crescent rolls (these are the bigger ones)
  • 1 stick unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • cinnamon
  • 2/3 cup orange juice

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and spray a 9 x 13 baking dish with cooking spray.
  2. Unroll each crescent roll triangle and place peaches in the middle near the fatter end. Be sure to leave some room around the edges so the peaches won’t fall out when it is rolled. Fold the ends over the peaches and then roll up tight.
  3. Place the turnovers into the prepared baking dish.
  4. Combine the sugar with the melted butter, mixing until combined.  Add in the vanilla.
  5. Pour the butter mixture over the turnovers and then add the orange juice into the baking dish.
  6. Sprinkle cinnamon all over the top.
  7. Bake for 35 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm and drizzle some of the juices from the dish on top.

It should look like this when you put it into the oven but it will bake up nice and browned. Your house will smell great!

  1. Janice these look amazing!!

  2. Why would you post something like this? Ugh. I ate three, and had to arm wrestle my 11yo for that third one. Have a care for my waistline, Janice!
I used regular crescent rolls, because its what I had on hand. I guess I’ll *have* to make them again, if only to try the *real* recipe with Grands.
    I’ll make the sacrifice.

  3. And I subbed nectarines. Nom nom nom.

I tried these recipes about a week ago. They were so delicious I had to stop myself from eating the whole pan. Thanks.
