Sidral Mundet just finished up a contest on its Facebook page and fans over there voted the original flavor as the best of the two. Both sodas are great and I am glad to have tried them. I had never heard of this brand before but they were started back on the early 1900s. If you visit the company’s Facebook page you can locate a retailer near you and also play Where’s Mundet and possibly win sodas, iPods, gift cards, and more everyday. Head over and give it a try.
Here are the children with their favorite flavor. They wished we had received a case instead of just two bottles. I guess I need to head over to the Facebook page and find out where Sidral Mundet is sold in my town.

Does your family like apple soda? Have you tried Sidral Mundet? Which flavor would you like to try? Feel free to leave a comment. Share and let’s talk about it.
I’d love to try the green apple! I once had an orange Mexican soda and it was very good. I don’t remember what brand though.
Try Jarritos! They are the same company as Sidal Mundet! They have all kinds of flavors, all are made with real cane sugar.
I’ve never tried apple soda but then I am addicted to diet pepsi. Maybe if they could make a diet apple soda… 🙂
I would LOVE the green apple. YUM!

I have never had mexican soda. Sounds good!
OMG I used to have that soda all the time when we went to local restaurants and especially when we went down to mexico. We just call them “Sidral” or “Manzanita” (even thought it’s another mexican apple soda, but still equivalent)aaahhh good memories. Those sodas are kind of hard to buy in stores today, you can only find them in restaurants.
Sidral is nostalgic to me. I used to drink that, hot chocolate or lime tea when I was a kid visiting my grandpartents in Mexico because those were the only safe (i.e. pasteurized) drinks available. I was a much bigger fan of Aga than Mundet, but that’s just personal preference. I haven’t had any Sidral in a long time, though my mom tells me it’s easier to find in American Walmarts than in corner stores of Morelia.
Darcy, you might have had a Mirinda or possibly Fanta.
