I love shopping at the commissary. Even though I have to drive for an hour to get there, I try to make it out as often as I can because the prices are unbeatable and I always save money at the commissary. I love the wide selection they have which includes a large range of international items. It is fun to find the German cookies and goodies we used to get when my dad was stationed in Germany when I was a kid.
I just heard about the General Mills Military Region Coupons and Offers program which allows military shoppers to sign up to receive great coupons and offers via their email. I signed up and I think you should, too. Once you sign up you will get emails with exclusive military only General Mills coupons, current products on sale at your local commissary, information about new General Mills products, and news about upcoming General Mills commissary events. The coupons you receive can be printed out at home and used at your commissary. As you know, the commissary does not accept mobile coupons, but by signing up for this program using your phone you will be ready to go when and if the commissary starts allowing mobile coupons.
To join simply text the keyword GMSAVE to 82857 (message and data rates may apply. 4 alerts per month. Reply STOP to end or HELP for help).
Also, be sure to like the program’s Facebook page. I was just over there and discovered that people like me with phone companies that do not support short code texting can ask to be added to the program by emailing [email protected] and stating that you would like to be manually added to the General Mills Military Region Coupons and Offers program. This should also work for anyone OCONUS with no texting setup.
Make sure you take advantage of the great deals and prices at the commissary!
