Like most people who watched Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, I really enjoyed it. The characters from the first movie return and there are some surprises in the character development and story lines of many of them. The movie has a lot of action and violence, but it is also one of the funniest movies I have seen in quite a while. I knew from the moment I saw it in the theater that I would be adding the Blu-Ray to my family’s collection. I was sent an early copy of the Blu-Ray to check out and it is pretty awesome.
Check out this Blu-Ray bonus material (may vary by retailer):
The Making of the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 – A four part, behind-the-scenes look at the making of the film, done in the style of classic rock album liner notes.
Guardians Inferno Music Video – David Hasselhoff and special guests host a galactic retro dance party.
Gag Reel – Hilarious off-script shenanigans and bloopers that took place on the set of the movie.
Deleted Scenes – Four scenes that were cut or shortened for the movie’s theater release.
Digital versions also include three scene breakdowns and an exclusive peek at Disneyland’s Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: Breakout! ride.
I highly recommend adding this Blu-Ray to your collection. Baby Groot alone is worth it!
Disclaimer: I received a copy of the Blu-Ray to facilitate my review. I was not paid and all opinions are mine.
