Be careful! Giant Mysterious Dinosaurs have been seen travelling about. The exhibit was recently in Pennsylvania, can currently be seen at the Arizona Science Center, and may be coming to a town near you. I took my own kiddos and my two youngest siblings to this exhibit and they all loved it (and so did I). On display are a huge variety of dinosaur skeletons including the world’s largest meat-eating dinosaur, the longest-necked of all plant-eaters, an Argentine giant with bizarre long double spines, and the unicorn-spiked duckbill from China. It is quite a collection.
One thing I really liked about the exhibit is that, while you cannot touch the skeletons, there are plenty of hands-on activities for the kids to enjoy. Even my teenage sister got into the action and worked to uncover “fossils” in the digging area. There are also interesting and informative videos that the kids will enjoy as well. The entire exhibit is educational and gets the kiddos thinking and asking questions.
Your family will have a lot of fun exploring this exhibit. Around every corner is something new and exciting that will draw shouts of excitement from your children. If you are in the Phoenix area you must check Giant Mysterious Dinosaurs out. The exhibit will be at the Arizona Science Center until January 21, 2013. After that it will move to another location. Have fun and watch out for hungry dinosaurs!
