Most of us are used to reading the Bible in the way it has been organized for generations. The books are presented in categories: law, history, wisdom, prophets, the Gospels, and so on. However, I took a chronological Bible study a few years ago and really loved it. A chronological Bible presents the events of the Bible in the order they occurred. While I do not use a chronological Bible as my primary study bible, the chronological Bible provides a fresh perspective and fulfilling read.
I recently received a copy of the CSB (Christian Standard Bible) Day-by-Day Chronological Bible which features a narrative approach to the Bible. This Bible is arranged into a fresh chronological reading plan with daily readings guided by Dr. George Guthrie. Unlike other chronological Bibles, this one does not start with January 1 and so it can easily be started anytime of the year.
This is a wonderful Bible that any family could appreciate. I have one to give away! Keep reading for more details on the giveaway below.
This beautiful Bible includes 52 weeks of readings in chronological order. The Scripture is presented in three main acts (God’s Plan for All People; God’s Covenant People; God’s New Covenant People) and 17 scenes with an introduction for each act and scene designed to show the reader its importance in the grand story. It also features single-column text with space for taking notes, a concordance, smyth-sewn binding, a presentation page, and full-color maps. I also love the pages which have that crisp scripture page sound and gold gilding without being fragile.
