Before the Wrath (2020)

Before the Wrath explains anthropological evidence from the time of Christ that will reignite hope for believers and prepare the world for what’s coming.

I heard an amazing analogy several years ago in a Bible study taught by a teacher who was an expert on Revelation and Israel. The analogy took something mysterious, Jesus’ return, and made it clear as day. Of course, if you know your Bible then you know that Jesus himself said “But concerning that day or that hour, no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father” (Mark 13:32). Before the Wrath uses the same analogy I learned years ago to explain why no one but the Father knows, as well as many other potentially confusing aspects of this pivotal biblical event.

I have no plans to share that analogy here since the film does such a beautiful job of unfolding it. Before the Wrath includes an impressive roster of theological researchers, each of whom was either directly involved in discovering the evidence for the analogy being shared in the movie, or was a major contributor in the advancement of theological research and education. Here is the film’s official trailer:

I watched this with my 17 year old son who also enjoyed the movie. It was not as interesting for my 12 year old daughter. It is a great family film for high school aged kids, or possibly younger teens who are interested in apologetics or Bible study. I recommend this movie to anyone who wants to better understand the prophesied second coming of Jesus.

Here is the official synopsis:

While scholars debate the timing of the Rapture, the world has lost why this event is prophesied to occur in the first place; knowledge that was once understood by those in the first century. Today, researchers in the Middle-East have rediscovered ancient anthropological evidence from the time of Christ that reveals exactly how and why the Rapture must occur; unveiling new biblical insight that will reignite hope for believers and prepare the world for what’s coming.

I need this so I can learn and be prepared for the second coming of Jesus, I’m so worried about being fooled by the Devil. I pray I make all the right decisions when the time comes, I’m so scared because I am easily fooled.

  7. My son in law recently lost his brother after a long battle with cancer. He and his brother are the only True believers in his family. He is hopeful that the rest of his family will come to know the Lord. Their grief is powerful and blinding. We wonder if the fact that God didn’t heal him, clouds the hearts of his family. God is still on The Throne and Prayer changes things, God Bless us all in these last days!
