The Arizona sun beats down in a very intense way almost every single summer day. Don’t believe the dry heat comment people make; being dry is not better. A dry heat requires a lot of hydration and my family has made it a habit to always have a water bottle nearby. We keep plenty of vitaminwater on hand this time of year, so I made some easy DIY vitaminwater holders. You can make these whether you sew or not. This water bottle holder will fit most wide-mouthed bottles.
Easy DIY vitaminwater Bottle Holder
What you need:
- #44 O-ring (available at your local hardware store)
- 4-5 feet, decorative ribbon, 1 inch wide
- thread (or no sew tape/no sew glue)
- vitaminwater bottle
Instructions:
- Measure the ribbon on whomever will wear the bottle holder. Trim if necessary.
- Fold about 1 inch of the ribbon over the O-ring and pin in place.
- Sew the ribbon in place. Repeat with other end of ribbon, making sure the ribbon is not twisted.
- Remove bottle lid and set O-ring on top of bottle, with ribbon wrong side up.
- Gently pull O-ring down until it is below the lip of the bottle. If the holder is on correctly, the lid should easily fit back into place.
Thanks to this water bottle holder, carrying the vitaminwater is easy and looks great! Wear it to the park, on a hike, while shopping, at home, or whenever you need to hydrate.
Remember to stay hydrated this summer! Have fun and stay safe!
This is such a fun idea and really would be perfect for a hike or for a busy mom who needed to be hands free!
Wow, this is really awesome! I usually have to keep a bottle in my purse which then makes my purse heavy, and because my hubby and I ride a motorcycle, we have to stop if we want to get a drink out of our saddlebag, so being able to wear this would make that so much easier! Thank you for the idea!!
