When I first watched Finding Nemo, I was 6 months pregnant with my firstborn. I thought the movie was a visual masterpiece, but I did not connect with the story-line at all. Fast forward 13 years and two kids later and Finding Nemo is now a family favorite. My children were thrilled when we heard about Finding Dory and I have to admit that I was, too. I recently attended a media screening of Finding Dory and this movie was worth the wait.
When you see Finding Dory, you will meet new friends, learn a thing or two about ocean life, and you may even cry a happy kind of cry. This movie, like it’s predecessor, is a visual masterpiece that is worth seeing in 3D.
Rating: PG for mild thematic elements
Worth seeing in 3D? A big yes! There are not many things popping out of the screen, but the depth and beauty of the Finding Dory ocean is quite beautiful in 3D.
Scene after the credits? Yes. There is beautiful imagery during the credits and a very fun scene at the end of the credits that you will not want to miss.
