I was provided the opportunity to visit the Arizona Science Center and Lost Egypt exhibit through a campaign with Blended Extended. All opinions are my own.
The Lost Egypt exhibit is interactive and has hands-on activities as well as technological displays that help connect the museum visitor to the ancient Egyptian world. Oh, and there are mummies. That’s what you really wanted to hear, right? There is a human mummy with an interesting back story, several animal mummies, as well as a cool display about how modern researchers use MRIs to investigate mummies. This mummy has been nicknamed Annie and was likely a teenage girl who was a drowning victim. I have never seen a a mummy before and it was a little eerie to behold but definitely a moving experience. Annie is very small and the reality that I was standing near a young woman who died almost 2000 years ago was sobering.
My family really enjoyed Lost Egypt. Go check it out!
I’ve never been to the science center before. This display looks awesome and I think my kids would really enjoy going!
I teach 6th grade, and a state standard is learning about Egypt. I would love to take my family as a preview to the exhibit before I plan a field trip for my students.
Wow, Love Egyptian stuff!
of course like your web site however you have to check the spelling on quite
a few of your posts. Many of them are rife with spelling problems and I find it very bothersome to tell the truth however
I’ll certainly come back again.
