Not too long ago a shark arrived in my driveway. Maybe you remember the story, but if you have never heard it, here is a quick summary to catch you up. My dear husband went deep sea fishing with his uncle and while fishing, he reeled in a 10 foot long thresher shark. The rules said that the shark could not be kept and must be returned to the sea. But before it was returned to the water, the giant fish was measured and later those measurements were turned into the replica that is now hanging from my ceiling. Ay! caramba! There’s a shark in my living room!
As I have told you, I live in a small house, so there is no out-of-the-way place to hang a shark. Plus hubby is quite proud of his catch so he wants everyone who visits to see the glory that is The Shark. Truth be told, every single person who has seen the shark thinks it is very cool, and after having it hang from the ceiling for a couple of weeks, it doesn’t seem so big to me anymore. I just wish I would quit hitting my head on it.
