I participated in the #TrafficSecrets 30 Day Challenge paid campaign. All opinions are my own. Traffic Secrets: The Underground Playbook for Filling Your Websites and Funnels with Your Dream Customers, written by entrepreneur Russell Brunson, shares classic and foundational direct marketing techniques, and evergreen traffic strategies to help you get your dream customers to your site.
I believe in Celebrating Family and what I do here and I truly believe that my product is good. But Russell Brunson argues the biggest problem most entrepreneurs face is not creating a good product. Instead, Brunson argues the biggest problem is getting their future customers to discover them. Brunson states that businesses fail too often because they do not understand how to get consumers to find them.
In Traffic Secrets: The Underground Playbook for Filling Your Websites and Funnels with Your Dream Customers, I was asked to consider my dream customer (in my case, dream reader). It took me back to when I was first starting out. The book reminded me that my mess will become my message.
This picture was taken a couple weeks after I started Celebrating Family in March of 2011. I was knee deep in mom-life and loving it. But some things were hard for me. I wasn’t the best crafter, I struggled to provide a variety of activities and meals for the kiddos, and sometimes I felt quite inadequate. I started Celebrating Family to reach out to and help other moms just like me. Life is complicated enough, and I wanted to encourage moms (and dads) to keep it simple and celebrate family. I am grateful that Russell Brunson helped me remember that.

Yes!!! Yur grandfather sounds like a wise man. 🙂
I loved reading about what you took away from the challenge. I learned so much and it’s so fun to see what others thought of the book and challenge.
I’m so glad you are embracing sales. I can relate to not being good at crafting or planning activities. I have learned to love myself for my gifts and let go to those I thought I was supposed to have – So freeing!
I loved reading your takeaway from this challenge. It has been such a learning experience. I can’t wait to see you implement what you learned!
Those are some great takeaways! The challenge helped me in achieving few of my initial goals too! LOved your post! YOu can check out mine here : https://sushmitamalakar.com/2020/06/russell-brunson-30-day-traffic-challenge/
I am best at sales when I do not approach it as selling. Rather, sharing my enthusasim for something.
