UncommonGoods recently reached out to me to see if I wanted to sample a few items from their site and share my thoughts with my readers. I had never heard of the company, but a quick look at its website resulted in a desire to introduce you to the products and the company. Keep reading to see which products I ordered and how UncommonGoods practices corporate social responsibility at the highest level.
Finding unique gifts can be a chore! UncommonGoods has a wide range of products with something for anyone on your list. There are affordable low cost items like these fun guitar socks. There are also high-end goodies like this robot bartender! I choose four items to share with you.
My son loves to garden and I found this cool Dawn Redwood Bonsai Forest kit. It’s just seeds right now, but it will soon grow into something beautiful.
My daughter’s birthstone is sapphire and I picked up a couple of stocking-stuffers celebrating her favorite stone. The first is a birth month mini-dish made from stained glass. It is lighter than I anticipated, but very pretty. I am sure she will love it. It came with a little card with information about the artist.
The other birthstone inspired gift I got for my daughter’s stocking is this handmade mineral soap. It is so beautiful and smells wonderful, too. My daughter is going to love this soap (and Mommy may have to borrow it).
UncommonGoods has the coolest pen I have seen in a while. My son is going to love this thing! This pen includes a screwdriver, touch stylus for smart devices, an integrated bubble level, ruler, and pen with clip. Maybe I need to order a few more of these?
UncommonGoods has a long list of cool products. However, the best thing about the company is its commitment to do good. Here are a few ways they are helping make the world a better place:
- The company’s lowest paid hourly seasonal worker makes 100% more than federal minimum wage.
- Employees can have paid family leave.
- Being good stewards by using recycled materials and resourceful packaging,
- Offering paid time off for volunteer work.
- Giving to charities and raising funds for good causes.
- Offering many handmade items designed by artists.
Head over to UncommonGoods today and find a unique gift for a loved one, and maybe something for yourself. I’ve got my eye on a few things, too.
Disclaimer: As I already mentioned, I was given these items in exchange for an honest opinion.
