I’m sure you have heard the minivan is boring, right? That might be true of some minivans, but it is not true of the 2018 Toyota Sienna. I recently had the pleasure of driving this stylish minivan and it made me realize that my family of four could use those extra seats to add some adventure to our life! The Toyota Sienna I drove seats eight people. The picture above was taken on my son’s birthday outing and thanks to the high passenger capacity, we were able to drive most of the crew which made the entire event more fun.
I had the Sienna during a busy week right in the middle of the Arizona monsoon season and it was raining almost every day. I snapped the picture below during a break in the rain and you can see my Camry hiding behind the Sienna. I love my Camry, but you can really see the size difference in this picture!
Speaking of rain, this mighty minivan was amazing on the wet roads. I had total control of the minivan and felt very safe. The Sienna is an incredibly safe vehicle with eight airbags, automatic high beams, Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection, Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist, Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, front and rear parking assist sonar, Blind Spot Monitor, and Rear Cross-Traffic Alert. Wow! That’s a mouthful!
The Toyota Sienna includes many features that live up to its nickname The Swagger Wagon. One available feature that I particularly enjoyed during my week with the Sienna was satellite radio. I found several stations that were just my style! I also enjoyed the dual zone climate control feature, the stow-away seats, and the power sliding doors.
I highly recommend this vehicle for families of all sizes. It is beautiful, safe, and loaded with features. It is perfect for long road trips, everyday carpool, and everything in between.
