S’mores are a summertime tradition in my family and probably in yours, too. We regularly have a fire in our fire pit on summer nights and s’mores are often a part of the fun. We also love to make s’mores on our family camping trips. What a fun tradition! The summer nights can get quite hot here in the desert, but that never stops us from lighting a fire and making some memories. I recently invited some of my family over for some s’mores fun and we had a blast. I laid out some Hershey’s bars, graham crackers, marshmallows, and even some Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, which all disappeared pretty quickly.
It is hard to imagine how old-fashioned s’mores could get any better. However, this summer, Hershey’s is bringing the s’mores experience into the 21st-century by launching its interactive Facebook application HERSHEY’S CAMP BONDFIRE. This app is pretty neat with s’mores tips, activities, fun themes, and a ton of suggestions for bonding around the fire. Now through September 7, fans of the app can may be selected as camper of the week and could win an outdoor fire pit. If you are a fan of s’more then you must head over and check it out!
We had so much fun getting together and making s’mores. We shared stories, laughs, and made some memories. I also discovered that my family has a wide range of marshmallow roasting preferences: some were going for burnt while others did not want them melted at all.
I hope your family gets together and bonds around a campfire this summer. Take some pictures, share some stories, create some memories. If you do, be sure to share over at HERSHEY’S CAMP BONDFIRE. I would also love to hear about your s’mores fun. Feel free to leave a comment. Share and let’s talk about it!

So much fun making Hersheys smores! 😉 what beautiful little models in your pics too! <3
We love doing s’mores and love it with PB cups too. Yum!!!! Beautiful pictures!!!!
I remember first making these at girl guides (called girl scouts now I believe!) We got chocolate digestive biscuits (might be a uk thing but basically cookies covered in chocolate), melted the marshmallow and stuck them in the middle. Yum!
I love S’Mores but haven’t made them in a while.
It’s great that you are getting thoughts from this piece of writing as well as from our discussion made at this time.
