Lights of the World (Phoenix)

My family and I were recently invited to a sneak peek of the Phoenix Lights of the World destination. This dazzling display of lights and lanterns is open now in Phoenix and it is here for your enjoyment through February 3, 2019! Lights of the World is the largest light and lantern show in North America with 65 stunning displays, over 10 million lights, authentic food purveyors and artisans, live performances and carnival rides!  Scroll down to the end of this post for more details.

One of my favorite features was the volcano. Check it out below. It is quite pretty, tall, and dramatic. This video gives you the idea, but does not do the volcano justice.

Lights of the World includes displays inspired by cultures from all around the globe. You can see a general map of the displays at the bottom of this post. The displays are large, colorful, bright, and beautiful.Lights of the World (Phoenix)The swan shown above is part of a much larger display that I had to stop and look at for a while. Boasting a completely different feel, yet just as eye-catching, is this giant T-rex head. Check out those claws!

Lights of the World (Phoenix)Take your time when you walk through Lights of the World. Look at every light and don’t be in a hurry. The show is sure to get you into the Christmas spirit, but if you move too quickly, you will surely miss something wonderful.Lights of the World (Phoenix)

Merry Christmas to you! Keep scrolling for event details.
