Before I was a grown-up all I wanted to listen to on the radio was music. But over the last couple of decades I have gravitated more toward talk radio programming. I used to spend quite a lot of time listening to sermons and other Christian programming on the radio, but my local Christian talk station is adding more and more paid programming and I never seem to find what I am looking for there anymore. I usually end up visiting several web pages looking for the content I want (which is time consuming, not to mention annoying). So when I was contacted about previewing the new TWR360 Beta site I answered with a resounding yes.
TWR360.org is a fantastic tool. TWR is the world’s largest Christian radio broadcaster with missionaries around the world. They are now harnessing the power of technology to reach new listeners for Christ with their beta consumer platform, TWR360. I spent some time looking over the site and I loved what I saw. Even though the official consumer launch is not until January 1, 2014 there is a ton of great content and new programming is being added between now and the end of the year.
Some of the programming on the site includes Family Life Today with Dennis Rainey, Thru the Bible with Vernon McGee, Reaching Your World with Luis Palau, and Leading the Way with one of my favorite pastors, Dr. Michael Youssef. There is so much on the site that I could easily end up spending way too much time there!
TWR360 gives you free 24/7 access to some of the world’s most respected Christian voices. How great is that? Make sure you check out this site for some inspirational programming that will help you grow closer to God, keep you connected to the Christian community, and expose you to great teachers you may not have had the opportunity to hear from before.
