Super Easy Flower Cupcakes

Super Easy Flower Cupcakes

easy flower cupcakes

I love to bake and I can make a killer cake.  The only problem is, the cakes and cupcakes are usually very ugly because I cannot frost worth a darn. I have friends and relatives who can make elaborately beautiful and awesome cake creations, but I can barely spread frosting evenly. Maybe you can relate?

I recently searched the Internet for an easy yet nice looking cupcake. I found quite a few and then decided to try to create a flower cupcake. The picture to the left is what I came up with. These are super easy!

Here is how to make these cupcakes.

  • Bake cupcakes using your favorite recipe or box mix.  I love the Hershey’s Perfectly Chocolate Cake recipe.
  • Next, make your own vanilla frosting or use a premade can of frosting. Add green dye drop by drop until you get the right color.
  • Frost the cupcakes.
  • Stick round suckers, like Tootsie Roll Pops, into the center of each cupcake.
  • Place two leaves onto each cupcake.  I used rose bush leaves, but you may also use edible leaves (such as mint leaves) if you wish.

These are so easy and quick to make and my children loved them. I liked them because they not only tasted great (as usual), but they also looked pretty cute.

Are you an ugly cake maker like me?  Or do you create baked masterpieces? Either way, feel free to leave a comment. Share and let’s talk about it.

Have a great day and just say no to Captcha! Btw thats not me being "snarky") I am just being totally honest. Things apparently get taken out of context when tone of voice is not a part of a conversation (Like comments!) . I am sorry if this is not relevant to your blog post, just didn't know where else to write it. Thanks to Learning to Limit for being rude about it though… I am totally not trying to be rude at all. Just 100% honest. I always am. (Ms Learning to Limit told me my comment was "snarky, rude & irrelevant" (I wrote the same comment on her blog.) Im sorry, but when commenting on 80 blogs, with 4 reviews due, i just simply don't have time to read and comment on everyone's blogs relevantly. I have 2 kids to raise! I hope you understand, please do not do like her and be rude…
