I love to give my friends and family members gift baskets. I find it is an opportunity to show the ones I love how I feel about them and that I really know them. Sometimes, however, putting together a unique gift basket can be difficult, especially if the basket is for a man. That is why I am sharing this office-friendly gift basket for men along with some unique gift basket container ideas. Plus, I am excited to tell you about the newest Starbucks® product that you can make at home.
Making a fun, unique, and personalized gift basket starts with choosing the right container for all the gifts. The container should go along with the theme of the basket. For example, for an office themed basket, consider a letter tray or metal basket like the one I used in the picture above. A gift basket for a handy-man could be placed in a work bucket or toolbox. You could even fill a new pair of boots with fun gifts as well.
This office-friendly gift basket for him was built using a metal basket purchased in the office supply section of a big box storeand filled it with shredded newspaper. Depending on the man you are making the basket for, you could shred the business section, editorials, funnies, or the sports pages. If your container is deep, be sure to place something sturdy in the bottom of the basket since the newspaper will collapse quite a bit when you add your items. I placed half of an egg carton in the bottom of this basket.
Once your container is ready to go, add items that go along with your theme. My husband’s workplace has a Keurig® brewer and coffee is a morning must-have in the office. The centerpiece of the basket is the Starbucks® Caffe Latte K-Cup® pods but I also added a few office products and fun items. This basket contains some high quality pens, a golden spoon, biscotti, fun post-it notes, a colorful mug, and three varieties of Starbucks® Caffe Latte K-Cup® pods (Caramel, Mocha, and Vanilla).
In case you haven’t heard, you can now make Starbucks® Caffe Latte right at home (or at the office) using your Keurig® brewer. My husband’s co-workers were jealous when they saw him use the simple two-step process to easily brew a creamy masterpiece. Starbucks® Caffè Latte K-Cup® Pods are made from milk, have no artificial flavors, and come in three Starbucks® signature flavors (Caramel, Mocha, and Vanilla) and two fun Starbucks® seasonal flavors (Pumpkin Spice and Peppermint Mocha, available for a limited time).
The Starbucks® Caffe Latte K-Cup® pods come with flavor packets. To brew up your own Starbucks® Caffe Latte, pour a flavor packet into your mug and place it on the drip tray of your Keurig® brewer. Then, using the eight ounce setting, brew the K-Cup® pod into your mug and stir. It is so easy and the result is so delicious! You can buy Starbucks® Caffe Latte K-Cup® pods at your local grocery store.
