I participated in an Influencer Activation Program on behalf of Influence-Central for Littlest Pet Shop. I received a sample to facilitate my review and a thank you item for participating. All opinions are mine.
When I was a kid I loved so many different toys but I especially loved toys I could build with or design. Unfortunately, my family was not loaded with cash so I did not get to have a lot cool homes for my Barbies and other figures. I did have a really cool Weeble Mickey mouse castle when I was little. So fun! I usually made my own homes for my toys by making partitions out of books. Not exactly stylish but it got the job done. My daughter and I were recently sent some Littlest Pet Shop Style Sets to try out so we called some friends up and invited them over to play.
We received two different Style Sets: the Littlest Pet Shop Style Set and the Blythe Bedroom Style Set. The assembly was very easy and each set came with dozens of Deco Bits and stickers for personalization. The group of girls we had over ranged from age 5 to age 10 and I was not sure if the toys would hold all of their attentions. I was pleased to see that all the girls played well and were very entertained by the style sets. The younger girls were very into imaginary play and focused more on putting the characters into play. The older girls were very into decorating the style sets and setting up the furniture and accessories.
One feature my daughter really liked was the way the Style Sets can be stacked which gave them more of a city feel. Also, she liked the way the roofs can be opened up because she could look into the rooms from above.
These Style Sets are based on the animated series (which my daughter loves). The girls and I found them to be quite fun and very cute. There are several to choose from and they range from about $14-$40. We will be adding to our collection.
You cannot have friends over without serving food, right? I put out some animal-themed snacks which the girls just gobbled up. Okay, I admit, the moms ate most of the CinnaBears.
