Celebrating Family
I love spending one-on-one time with my daughter. Because she is my second born, I do not get as much alone time with her as I did with my son who was an only child for 4 years. Add that fact with the busyness of the holiday season and it can be very challenging to have one-on-one time at all. I put together this list of fun and relatively affordable mother-daughter activities and I hope you will leave comments with your ideas as well. Let’s make quality time with our children something we never take a holiday from.

Mother-Daughter Date Ideas

  • Visit your local zoo.
  • Pack a picnic lunch and go to the museum.
  • Pack a shoebox for Operation Christmas Child (thru Nov. 21).
  • Make cupcakes together.
  • Work together at a food bank or other community service project.
  • Go window shopping at the mall (or shopping at the mall with a $20 budget).
  • Buy a toy for a Salvation Army Christmas Angel (thru Dec. 13).
  • Have a picnic at the park.
  • Get your nails and/or toes done.
  • Go to a movie.

Have you done any of these activities with your daughter? What other mother-daughter date ideas do you have?  Feel free to leave a comment. Share and let’s talk about it.
